Katie Smith is one of the 20 best players to ever play in the WNBA. Her storied career includes 15 seasons in the WNBA, retiring as the all-time scoring leader in women’s professional basketball history, winning 2 WNBA championships, 3 Olympic Gold Medals, and 7 All-Star Games. She will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this fall. She is now the Head Coach of my hometown New York Liberty.
Nicki Collen, a former collegiate (Marquette) and professional (Greece) player was a long time assistant coach before being named the Head Coach of the Atlanta Dream before the 2018 season. Now, she has the Dream currently in 2nd place in the league and is a frontrunner for Coach of the Year.
