I was invited by NYC Dads Group to attend a special Hasbro event at Toy Fair 2015. As a parent of a three year old child into everything from Marvel heroes to My Little Pony, I was excited to see what Hasbro had to offer in their upcoming toy lines. It's a big year for Hasbro, as they are producing toys for three of the biggest films of the year: Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, they offer a wide variety of other toys for all ages. Here are some of my highlights.
After the tour, Hasbro held a reception in honor of the 80th Anniversary of Monopoly, with top hats and bow ties handed out to all attendees. Hasbro is producing a handful of new Monopoly versions this year, one of which was (wait for it) a $1500 Coach version. Hasbro truly has a little bit of everything for children and adults.
